Activision today confirmed the release of the latest iteration of the Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare out November 4th.  Alongside the announcement a reveal trailer was dropped showcasing over three minutes of action giving us some indication of what to expect from Infinity Ward's latest entry to the franchise.

After news last week that Activision trademarked the title, Infinite Warfare speculation has mounted about what this new game would be. It was only a matter of days before Activision confirmed the title was real.  Taking on from the future weaponry and conflict style of the recent titles, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare ups the ante by taking the conflict out to space as well as the traditional ground battles the series is used to. Set to a pulsing cover of the late David Bowie's Space Oddity, the video teases some of the aspects we expect to see in the game. Soldiers with cybernetic limbs, hovering drone ships and robotic partners are all shown within the reveal, but which of these aspects are playable by the charcter is yet to be confirmed.

The biggest shock however is revelaed at the end of the video where Activision confirms the release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare HD. The critically acclaimed fourth entry in the series is getting a fresh HD treatment and will be included within the Ultimate Edition of this game, retailing at £89.99.

We'll bring you more on this title as we hear it.
