News Build your vehicle up from scratch in vehicular combat game Scraps

Scraps is a vehicular combat game developed by Moment Studio for the PC, Mac and Linux platforms. It is currently available to play on Steam's Early Access programme after a successful Kickstarter campaign which managed to raise almost $30,000 NZD from 928 backers.

Scraps gives you the opportunity to truly build your vehicle up from scratch. Adding various parts will have a dramatic effect on your vehicle's maneuvering and combat effectiveness. Action takes place in arena style environments and the game offers single player, and internet and LAN multiplayer modes.

The Steam Early Access version features a deathmatch style mode where you can spend money on your vehicle and do battle against others, you can also collect scrap that is strewn on the battlefield which can be used to repair or add parts to your vehicle. Also available are multiplayer modes over the internet and LAN.

The full version of Scraps will include more parts, more propulsion types such as tank tracks, more maps and improvements to existing ones, smarter AI, a team deathmatch mode, improved physics, custom weapon groups, and the usual performance improvements and bug fixes.
