It's bad news I'm afraid for those of you who have been anxiously awaiting the console release of Assetto Corsa as developer Kunos Simulazioni today announced the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions will now release in June.
More specifically, the new release dates are June 3 in Europe and June 7 in North America. Kunos have stated that the extra development time will enable them to deliver the most polished experience on the consoles.
So far Kunos have confirmed that the console versions of Assetto Corsa will contain over 90 high performance cars which include the likes of the Pagani Zonda R, Ferrari LaFerrari and Mercedes C9, 27 different track configurations with Silverstone, Spa, Monza and the Norbugring Nordschleife all making appearances.
Also included are single and multiplayer racing modes with customisable race weekends, preset challenges and a “full-scale” Career mode. So mark your calanders for June and we'll bring you more on Assetto Corsa as soon as we can.
