News Grid 2 ‘Super Modified Pack’ DLC released

Codemasters Racing has released the first post-launch DLC car pack for Grid 2: the 'Super Modified Pack'.
Available to download today from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 480 Microsoft Points and the PlayStation Store for £3.99, the 'Super Modified Pack' features four highly-tuned performance cars that, in the words of Codemasters themselves, have "been modified to squeeze every last ounce of performance out of the car".
The four cars in the Super Modified Pack are:
- Auto Gallery Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32)
- Tomei Cusco Subaru Impreza WRX STI
- Mazda RX-7 Panspeed
- 5ZIGEN Honda Civic Super Modified
The quartet of tuner specials can be used in Grid 2's single-player, splitscreen and online multi-player modes. Given these four cars are meant to be as fast and as extreme as they'll possibly be, though, we'll be a tad surprised if you can lavish them with the performance upgrades that are available in the online multiplayer.
Codemasters Racing has also revealed the first snippets of information regarding future DLC for Grid 2, having promised that the 'Drift Car Pack' and the 'Peak Performance Car Pack' will be released sometime in July.
The folk at Codies also slipped the 560MSP/£4.79 'Unlock All Cars" pack, which – as its name suggests – unlocks all of the non-DLC cars for use in the online multiplayer modes.
